Remove all products from the natural nail using acetone based remover. You can use non acetone based removers as well. Some people find acetone to drying for their natural nails, cuticles, and skin.

Using a wooden cuticle pusher, gently push your cuticles back from your nail plate. Tip: Don't be to aggressive when pushing your cuticles back. Instead, use firm small pushing movements to gently detach any dead skin attached to your nail.

Using a nail file, gently file and shape your natural nails to the desired look of your choosing. The more surface of your natural nail there is for the press-on nails to adhere to (along with proper prep), the longer your retention will be!

Using a buffer block, gently buff away the shine on the tops of your natural nail; make sure to get the entire nail plate. This is going to "rough" the surface of your nail to allow for maximum adhesion.
Tip: Make sure to buff where you pushed your cuticle back in order to remove any left over dead skin.

Using an alcohol swab, wipe the entire nail plate thoroughly. This step helps remove any debris from your nail plates as well as removing any oils or dust.

Apply a thin layer of glue to your natural nail plate. Then apply a tiny drop of glue to the back of the press-on nail. Make sure not to add to much glue or you may experience spill-over once you apply the press-on nail.
Note: You may choose to use adhesive tabs instead of nail glue.

Nail glue dries fairly quickly so you will have to move at a good pace. Once glue is applied, take the press-on nail and apply it starting from the base of your nail plate and up to the tip. Once the press-on nail is in place, gently press down and hold the press-on nail for a minimum of 30 seconds. 60 seconds to be safe! After holding for the required time, the nail will be tightly adhered and you can move onto the next nail.
TIP: You do not need to press down firmly on the nail you are applying. Pressing to hard will cause the glue to pool out the sides or the cuticle area and can also create air pockets.

Once all your press-on nails are securely adhered, take a couple drops of cuticle oil and massage into the cuticle area on each nail.
And voila! Beautiful new nails in minutes!
